"You as a music educator have the opportunity to enhance the lives of others by infusing them with music. Don’t let the difficulties of being a private music teacher stop you from doing what you love! I started teaching private piano and flute lessons in 1996 while completing a B.A. in Music Education at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. Several years later I moved to Colorado and had to start over with building my clientele. After one year I had a thriving professional studio in my home of over 50 students a week. But there were more twists and turns to my story. My husband and I moved to Mexico for 2 1/2 years, then came to Flagstaff, AZ where I currently reside. I now have a flourishing commercial studio where I also rent studio space to other teachers. If I can do it, you can, too! |
